Stow Simple offers stress-free summer storage with seamless pickup and delivery. We carefully measure, label, and transport your items, then store them in a secure, climate-controlled facility.
You can add or remove items and adjust service dates by logging into your Lookbook (student) up to 5 days before your first appointment. But don't worry, if you want to add/subtract an item last minute, we will do our best to accommodate.
HOW TO MODIFY AN ORDER: Need to view appointment times or change an order? It's easy. Here's how:

Do I need to be reachable for the entire in-person appointment window? YES! Our teams will text/call upon arrival. Students should meet our teams at the dorm lobby to escort staff to their rooms for in-person storage pickups and supply drop-off. Students do not need to be present for appointment-free or pre-arrival delivery services. Missed appointments are subject to a Rescheduling Fee. See Terms of Service.
When can I schedule my return delivery? In June, you will receive an email alerting you that you may schedule a return delivery of your things.
How much is it to store items that don't fit in a bin or box? You are charged for the space items occupy. Our Stow Away team will measure your items at pickup and price accordingly (up to 4 cubic ft. $55; up to 5 cubic ft. $65; etc. See full pricing in pricing section below).
Do you come to my door? Absolutely. We provide door-to-door service. However, due to UM requirements, students must meet us at the lobby to provide dorm room access.
Will you store my plastic bins? Most plastic bins (like those used for under-bed storage) aren't suitable for transport and may crack or break. These non-heavy duty plastic bins are not covered under our insurance protection. We may store empty plastic bins. To save money, nest bins inside one another. We may refuse to take filled plastic bins that we feel are not suitable for transport.
What if I want to store more stuff? If you think you are storing more than planned, please modify your order by logging into your account as indicated above, or call us at (888) 544-6050 to ensure we have enough space in our trucks. We reserve the right to refuse additional items not listed in your order. Items added at the last minute will be measured and priced as small (up to 3 cubic ft. $45), medium (up to 4 cubic ft. $55) large (up to 6 cubic ft. $75), or oversized items (see full pricing below).
Will you help me pack? Items must be packed and ready to go before pickup. Please think of us like FedEx or UPS. We are here to safely and promptly place your items in storage. Items are stored in the same condition as we received them. If your items are fragile, they must be protected with bubble wrap or safely boxed prior to pick up.
How do I pack a mattress pad topper? Fold it lengthwise (hot dog style), then roll it up like a rug. You may want to place it inside a large plastic bag and tape it tightly so it keeps a cylindrical shape.
Do I need to box my refrigerator? Refrigerators do not need to be boxed HOWEVER, all refrigerators must be defrosted, dry, and emptied before pickup. We will not pick up leaking refrigerators.
What if I don't use all my bins/boxes? We will collect unused bins at no cost to you. Boxes are yours to keep. We do not refund or store unused boxes.
How do I pack fragile items? Please ensure that fragile items are well-protected and boxed. Items are stored in the same condition that we receive them. If your items need extra love, please give it to them. TVs and mirrors must be in a box to qualify for insurance protection.
Where do I get TV boxes? Need bubble wrap or a TV Box? Amazon can deliver them to your door. Home Depot located at 2999 SW 32nd Ave, Miami, FL 33133, is another good option for TV Boxes.

Name it to Claim it - Our teams will bring labels at pickup. If storing a suitcase or duffle bag, you may want to use our Print Labels feature - found in your Lookbook (student). Include the printed label inside your bag in the case our bar-coded label does not adhere to the fabric.
Tape is your Friend - You must tape the top and bottom of all your boxes. Please do not fold over flaps.
Mind the Gaps - To avoid damage, fill all spaces in the box. This can be done with newspapers, peanuts, clothing, bubble wrap, etc.
No Bulging Bins - Heavy Duty Bins must close with the lid completely flat. Bulging bins will incur a $45 additional charge per bulging bin.
I Want my TV/Mirror Crack-free - Fragile items, including ALL TVs, MONITORS, LAMPS, AND MIRRORS, must be in a proper fitting box or TV box.
Break down Particleboard - Particleboard is made from small particles of wood, which are glued and pressed together. Particleboard is weaker than other furniture materials, like solid wood, and cannot be packed securely for commercial transport unless completely disassembled and repackaged. In addition, we can refuse flimsy furniture that is unsafe for our employees to transport.
No Leaky Refrigerators - All refrigerators must be defrosted, dry, and emptied before pickup. If you are worried about scratching, please protect with a towel or shrink wrap. Stow Simple is not responsible for scratching if a mini fridge is presented without protection.
Empty all Items - Plastic drawers/totes, nightstands, or other furniture items should be empty and drawers secured with tape.
Box or Bin it – Anything that fits in our standard boxes or heavy-duty bins must be placed inside them.
Save our Backs (and your stuff) - Bins and Boxes should not weigh more than 45 lbs. Overweight items are subject to a $55 fee as they require special handling.
PRICING for our summer storage plans:
Small Items - Items up to 3 cubic feet ($45).
Medium Items - items up to 4 cubic feet ($55)
Large Items - Items up to 5 cubic feet ($65)
Oversized / Special Handling - Items over 5 cubic feet or require special handling ($75+)
Larger items are priced at $3 per cubic foot per month for a 4-month time frame. FRAGILE ITEMS like TVs and mirrors have special pricing.
